$100,000 Legacy to Dominican Hospital

We are pleased to recognize Edward Rampone as a member of the Bob Swenson Legacy Society and as an annual donor to Dominican Hospital since 1982. He recently left the Dominican Hospital Foundation a generous bequest of $100,000.
According to his nephew, Randy Rampone, "My uncle faced several medical challenges and he was very grateful for the nurses and physicians who took care of him and kept him dancing for many, many years." Mr. Rampone served our community well, working 35 years for the U.S. Postal Service. His route during that entire time was Pasatiempo where he had also worked as a caddy at Pasatiempo Golf Course during his high school years. Mr. Rampone served in World War II and was awarded The Bronze Star. He was married for 47 years to Alpeda Rampone until 1994. His strongest passions were the 49ers, travelling and ballroom dancing which he later shared with his dear friend, Peggy Mansfield.
We are grateful for his many years of support and for the legacy he has left to improve the health of our community.
