Throughout her lifetime Rose made annual modest contributions to Dominican Hospital and was a member of the Bob Swenson Legacy Society indicating that she had included the hospital in her estate plan. Rose's will directed specific assets to various relatives and included a provision for Dominican to receive a sizable block of stock, the dividends from which provided her with retirement income. She further designated that the hospital should use the proceeds from the sale of the stock to support patients in a particular area of care. Rose's thoughtful planning provided for her needs, honored the individuals she cherished, and remembered the charities that she supported so faithfully during her life.
